I am an artist based in Northampton and have recently completed a BA in Fine Art Painting & Drawing at the Univeristy of Northampton. My main interests in painting are firstly paint as a 'stuff'; I love its texture, colours and tones and I explore this in my work through building up larged textured surfaces full of colour. I also fascinated by the history of painting- all the works on this website are transcriptions of paintings of old masters (this will change once I get arounf to fully updating the website's gallery). With the transcription paintings I was concerned largely with learning from the process of studying the paintings but was also interested in translating the paintings into my own 'style' (for lack of a better word).
